Sea Isle Halloween Parade 2008 and OctoberFest
This coming Friday night, October 24 at 7:30 the annual parade will kick-off at 46th Street in Sea Isle City.  The parade will proceed north on Landis
Avenue to JFK Blvd.  There will be awards presented and a family dance party on the promenade following the parade.  On Saturday, October 25, starting at noon, there will be the 2nd Annual Octoberfest.  There will be many activites going on including the giant moon bounce, face paining, balloon creations, pony rides and pumpkin painting.  There will  be a costume contest for Bavarian and Halloween costumes.  Education displays and sand-sculpting demonstrations will be held at noon.  A German beer garden will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. next to the promenade at 38th St with a $15 admission charge and includes free beer, mug and live music. for info call 609-263-9090.  How's your pie baking skills?  You can enter a pie-baking contest and bring home the blue ribbon.  To enter the contest, download an application at:  http://ww.seaislecitynj.us  and return by Thursday, October 23.  For info call 263-8847.
