Sea Isle City Polar Bear Plunge 2010 Update as of Feb 10th

The city is working around the clock to prepare for this weekend.  It was decided yesterday to continue with the weekend festivities.  The Sea Isle City Polar Bear Plunge will be held on February 13, 2010.  The run will be held on February 14, 2010.  Look for more information soon.

I would love to be part of the plunge, but I hae some  questions as to the procedure. Can you give any more information ?  Parking, availability of others to be there with blankets etc after the plunge, or anything else you could offer.  Thanks a lot.

The polar bear plunge is awesome! Park wherever you can find a spot, it takes place on JFK beach and there will be tons of people. Bring your own blankets/comforters.. it is freezing cold! And anyone can plunge, you can sign up..I think at La Costa..or just join in on the beach.
