Parking is very tricky for this event.  There will be a trolley in town and for  $5 you can have unlimited rides for the day.  Getting back out of town takes hours so I would suggest planning on hanging around town for awhile after the event.  There are vendors at LaCosta (which is also where registration takes place).  Bring your own blankets/towels.

Sea Isle City is bustling with activity today in preparation of tomorrow's storm and the highly anticipated weekend events.  The electric company is busy getting the power on to those that lost it. The city has stopped garbage pick-up so everyone can be out getting the streets plowed, sidewalks cleaned, etc.  And then there are the beer trucks making their deliveries- parked everywhere! 

The Polar Bear Plunge is ON!!  There are 600 registered for the plunge and about 300 registered for the autism walk/run.  The autism event on Sunday will have the runners going south on the promenade from JFK and the walkers heading north on the promenade.

Dennis Township had five single family homes sold with an average price of $229,400 with 201 average days on the market.  There are 13 properties under contract.

Middle Township had 23 properties sold consisting of one duplex, two townhomes, two vacant lots and 18 single family.  The average sales price was $248,498 with a high of $410,000 and a low of $75,000.

Sea Isle City had 14 properties sold consisting of one single, one condo and 12 townhomes.  The average sale price in Sea Isle City for November was $771,321 with a low of $325,000 and a high of $2,300,000. There are 14 homes under contract.

Upper Township had five single family homes sold in November.  The average sale price was $299,300 with 164 days average on the market.  There are 19 homes under contract.

The following homes sold during the past two weeks according to the Cape May County Board of Realtors MLS.

133 69th Street, West sold for $635,000 on October 15.  This is a five bedroom, three bath townhome built in 2001.

7304 Central Avenue, South, Sea Isle City sold for $775,000 on October 15.  This home is a four bedroom, three full and two half bath townhome built in 2006.

10 55th Street, South, Sea Isle City sold for $1,300,000 on October 23.  This home is a five bedroom, three bath beachfront townhome.

There are currently 47 properties "under contract" in Sea Isle City at this time.  I think that is the most we have seen in a long time.  The average price is $660,744.

Looking for something to do this Columbus Day weekend in Sea Isle?  Why not stop at Kixx for the Italian Festival from 1 to 8 p.m.  The parade will be at 2 p.m.  If you will be in Ocean City on Saturday, the street festival is taking place.  Saturday evening the town is hosting a large (I heard to the tune of $41,000) fireworks display.  If you are heading to Cape May, there  will be a wine festival both days at the Cape May-Lewes terminal.
